Riding the train is always an adventure.
Originally, I’m from Southern California. There is a light rail system but its a joke compared to BART from Northern California or WMATA in the DMV or the subway in New York. The trains at home don’t get you remotely close to anything you really want to get to.
Its a much different story in the DMV. I try and take the train as often as possible. Especially if I have to go into the city. Traffic is annoying. They still don’t have anything remotely close to real traffic but it backs up here and there. Parking is the worst part of DC. Its impossible to find a space and its expensive. Ugh.
I’ll hop on a train with a quickness. You never know what you’re gonna see. A few crazies. An attractive businessman rocking an amazing suit. Some bad ass kids that need to be snatched. A woman with a pink mohawk. You just never know!!!
I love to observe people. The things people do when they think they aren’t being watched – pure entertainment. Couples. Kids. Commuters. Tourists. Its like a box of chocolate. You never know what you’re gonna get!
